text, prayer, and perfume

post mfa show i've been wondering how my perfume performance work might manifest itself

in doing so i made this goofy collage, which i kind of love

how might i fold different parts of my practice over themselves? wearing the same thing for a period of time but continuing to make perfumes, and letting the experience from one perfume directly inform the creation of the next rather than making them each separately

in thinking about the text portion of my practice, i came upon the connection between text, prayer, and perfume. those ephemeral emanations are sacred and profane in me often simultaneously, and i can listen in passing to conversation on the street and decipher groans, and translate with scent. and the trail will be both ephemera and object
