billboard art project: reading, pa

I appropriated text from the pseudo-public forum of the personal ads on Craigslist, edited the posts, and published them using a very public digital billboard in the same city. I am interested in the use of olfactory language, and how that elicits a body from the imagination, and taps into the reptilian brain and memory. I am taking constructions of identities and bodies in digital language, and enlarging them through this collaboration with the Billboard Art Project.

The exhibition took place in Reading, PA on October 22, 2011, and was shown at: 12:49am, 3:31am, 6:11am, 8:49am, 11:26am, 2:03pm, 4:40pm, 7:17pm, and 9:53pm
